Today I have noted something interesting and I feel that I have to reflect about the scale of values of my dog because it is very instructive for me. My little dog Alice knows very well that my husband is the leader of the pack of which she thinks she is part. Alice obeys him with respect, almost with fear. Instead, I am her educator. I taught her to understand the orders and she understands quite well what I tell her; nevertheless I think that it takes me for her play companion, she does not have has not great regard for me; when my husband is at home she only has eyes for him. But when my mother in law comes the scale of values changes because for Alice she is like God...
