An acute nostalgia for “something more”

Sometimes we may suddenly affirm “I have seen!” just to express a “global vision” and not what we have really seen with our eyes. Maybe we succeed in getting the fragmented or distorted pieces of our life together and to put them aright. So we affirm: “I have seen!” meaning “I have understood!” It is like that: when we succeed on grasping the profoundness of something that seemed to be confused, we learn to see with our hearts and to see beyond the apparent evidence.
With our hearts we can “see” what is invisible for the eyes and we can penetrate the depths of the things and “read” them beyond the appearances. The word “intuition” comes from the Latin verb “Intueri” meaning “look at, watch over”. This ability can be one of the best qualities of a person but one has to develop and to strengthen it with patience... (continue)
