I have found out that in Japan there is the traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers, mainly cherry tree-flowers (called Hanami) in spring time. So the Hanami has become the symbol of the fragility and the beauty of life. The practise of Hanami is many centuries old and Japanese people continue this tradition by gathering in great number wherever the flowering trees (Sakura) are found.
