At the same time in Padua and Lisbon

Bilocation is the phenomenon whereby a person is present at the same time in two different places. The subdivision of psychology is of little interest and if scientifically it cannot be explained. We believe that the miracle happens by means of the Divine Power that everything can. The phenomenon, proverbial in Saint Anthony of Padua, has also occurred in the lives of many other saints: Francis of Assisi, Joseph of Cupertino, Alfonso de’ Liguori, Philip Neri, Martin of Porres and Pius of Pietralcina...
Many hagiographers remember the prodigy of the bilocation carried out several times by Antonio, historically ascertained by the “Legenda”, that is, the lives of the saints read daily by religious communities. Such miracles did not respond to the inventions of writers because the texts were examined by the ecclesiastical authorities responsible for them. Moreover, the authors of the “Legenda” of the 13th and 14th centuries learned about Anthony from the friars who were in contact with the witnesses of the prodigy.
