Each crisis has a lesson to teach us

Monseigneur Giampaolo Dianin, bishop

In the dictionary the word “crisis” is defined as “to cut, to separate, to judge and to choose”. Every crisis is a time of great disagreement and of profound trouble. In medical terms for example a crisis is the turning point for the better or the worse in an acute disease.. A crisis is a profound inner trouble that asks to reflect on what is happening and to make a decision.

The Pope writes: “The life of every family is marked by all kinds of crises, yet these are also part of its dramatic beauty” (AL 232). There are some crisis that occur in the life of every couple that we could call “challenges”.
