Engagement: a time of searching and grace

We can’t give up that precious time of a love story that is engagement. Even if today many people take the path of cohabitation, we believe that the potential of this season, which does not anticipate a life already in some way spousal, are many. In the previous issue, I talked about engagement as a time of wonder and knowledge. Now I would like to delve on two other essential aspects that are discernment and search.

Engagement is not only a gift that leaves the two young people amazed, nor is it only a serious journey of mutual and ever deeper knowledge. It is also and above all a time of search, the season of vocational discernment to understand what the Lord wants from the two and for the two.
