It is a good word for everyone

In his sermon about John the Baptist’s birth Saint Anthony wrote: “the birth of saints is a great joy for everyone because they are a richness for the community; saints are born for the blessing of everyone. Indeed holiness is a social virtue that enriches the entire community”. Maybe we can say the same about the “birth from heaven”: the saints’ lives are a blessing for everyone! And what about saint Anthony’s holiness? The popularity of his holiness confirms his words. The graces he gave to many people are there for all to see. But what are the gifts that his holiness still give nowadays to the mankind after eight centuries? (continue)
