A spoiler is an element of a disseminated summary or description of any piece of fiction that reveals any plot elements. Typically, the details of the conclusion of the plot, including the climax and ending, are especially regarded as spoiler material in books, video games and soap operas.
Normally a text is not a spoiler but it may include some spoiler information that gives a description of an important plot and that may reduce surprise or suspense for a first-time viewer or reader.
The word “spoiler” is frequently used and article-writers are often asked to include it in their messages inviting the readers to concentrate their attention on a certain passage if they do not want to risk having information before the ending.
