Joy is the fruit of the journey

We may think that joy is born as a spontaneous feeling of the heart due to something unexpected or when, after a period of doubt and anxiety, we get some long good news. Certainly this kind of happiness belongs to our human experience and we would like to feel it often! It is a gift that God offers us throughout life and it broadens the horizon of our spirit by pouring out abundance of joy. But there is another kind of joy that we may call “complex”: What do I mean?
