How many times has someone suggested to us to ask St. Anthony ask for grace... and how many times have we suggested the same to others”. In fact we all know that St. Anthony generously intercedes with God on our behalf. But maybe we often forget to thank him. As pope Francis affirms it is important to give thanks to improve our relationships with others. Other people’s gifts may gratify us but sometimes paradoxically they can be a way of “keeping distance” as it may happen when we make a gift just to put our conscience on ease. On the contrary if another “gives himself” through the gift he invites us to do the same on the basis of reciprocity. So, in a symbolic manner, we turn our gaze to the other improving our relationship...
