What one can do faced with an unexpected separation?

In life anything may happen that makes us suffer and this has also happened in my family. My son is 28 years old and his wife has left him after three years of marriage without an apparent reason. From the beginning I had a good relationship with her, almost like a mother and a daughter but she has decided to say nothing and there is no evidence that she has another man. So she left and my son had to move back in with us; he feels empty and we do not know how we can help him. R.P. It is really difficult to give advice for a painful situation as an endured separation. But I think that it is important to accept that you need time and that your son needs time to metabolise grief especially if it concerns intimate reasons of the couple’s mystery. As a mother I suggest you have the same inner attitude you had when you were pregnant: accept the mystery of this moment of his life by being there with discretion and tact. Life will continue but something new could be generated.
