In this period so full of fear, uncertainty, and suffering as a result of the spread of the virus, the Universal Association of Saint Anthony also wishes to be a bearer of solidarity and closeness, making its own the words that Pope Francis addressed in the Marian prayer of the Angelus on Sunday 8 March. “I am close with prayer to those suffering from the current coronavirus epidemic and to all those who are caring for them.
I unite myself to my brothers Bishops in encouraging the faithful to live this difficult moment with the strength of the faith, the certainty of hope and the ardour of charity. May this time of Lent help us all to give a sense of the Gospel to this moment of trial and pain”.
May Saint Anthony, invoked to “find lost things”, intercede once again on behalf of his faithful to help them find the health of body and spirit, serenity, and wisdom in seeking the true treasures of life! We would also like to inform you that following the emergency caused by the coronavirus, The Saint of miracles may arrive late in these months due to delivery problems.
The same issue may occur for the letters we send you in response to your donations in support of our charitable activities. We ask you for your patience and understanding in this time of uncertainty and anguish.
Thank you.
