The school meal service is an important time for socialization and for many children, it’s also a way of preventing poverty, malnutrition and obesity. In these years of economic crisis, child food poverty has sharply increased. Unfortunately, only one child in two has access to the school canteen.
That’s why the Universal Association of Saint Anthony decided to support families in need by giving them School Meal Vouchers.
Saint Anthony taught us to give support to those in situation of vulnerability: through the Bread for the Poor Charity, we have been standing beside people in difficulty since 1887; with this initiative we are focusing on fighting child food poverty.
